This document sets out the information gathering and dissemination policy for all Online Services provided by Verity Agency Services Pty Ltd trading as DCAAS and DATA CENTRE AS A SERVICE (DCAAS). This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use for Online Services which provides key definitions that also apply to this Privacy Policy.
We take your privacy seriously and have implemented technologies to guard against unauthorised access to, and alteration of, the personal information we collect about you online. These technologies include firewalls, system backups, password access and where appropriate, data encryption. We manage the storage of both electronic and hard copy information in line with our internal Digital and Physical Data Management Procedures.

Note: We do not automatically collect email addresses for people accessing our web sites. We use anonymous information to assist us with improving services, for security management and may aggregate and share this information, however no personal information is ever communicated to Third Parties as a part of this process.
From time to time we may request and you may elect to provide, personal information through our Online Services, including your name, email and residential or business addresses, credit card number, telephone contact details and other personal information. We will not share the personal information you provide to us with any Third Party, or disclose this information to other organisations without your prior written permission unless required to do so by law.
If DCAAS sells all or part of its business, personal information may be part of the assets transferred to the purchaser. If you are a registered user of our Online Services we will use our best endeavours to notify you of any such event and you may elect to have your personal information removed from our systems.
For the majority of our business customers, we implement a post paid invoice system and request settlement via bank transfer. However, you may still pay for services using a Credit Card if you wish. We do not store any Credit Card details on our systems.
When accessing our web site we may use an electronic token known as a cookie to identify your computer to our server during a session or between visits (the cookie persists and is recognised by the server the next time you access the site). Cookies do not allow us to identify you personally, however if you prefer not to accept cookies your browser can be configured so that this function is disabled. Please refer to documentation for your browser if you wish to disable cookies. Note that disabling cookies will limit some key features of our web site.
If it is supported and enabled for your browser, our web server may temporarily store information such as user preferences and images in your browsers local storage to enhance performance and usability. The Online Services may include links to external web sites and services which are beyond the control of DCAAS. In general (but not always) external sites and services accessed from our web site will open in a new browser window rather than within the DCAAS web site. Before disclosing your personal information on web sites linked from our Online Services we advise you to ensure you are familiar with the privacy policy and terms of use of the external web site.
